The first version of holy Qur'an by Al Azhar has been displayed at the pavilion of the prestigious Islamic academy within the 53rd Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF) in a bid to involve the visually impaired in the annual event.
Supervised by Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayyeb, Al-Azhar publication has been in charge of publishing the Braille Qur'an with the latest printing systems, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The move, as announced in a statement by Al Azhar, is in line with supporting the blind and visually impaired individuals.
53rd Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF) will be active at the Egypt Center for International Conventions and Exhibitions until February 7.
