Leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) urged the world people to ponder the objective of western countries behind assault on Yemen condemning the global silence on the catastrophe.
Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, leader of the Shia community and the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, in his speech at webinar on Yemen war noted that the hostility in Yemen has led to war crimes against humanity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He denounced the Saudi-led aggression against killing of men, women and children in their homes, workplace, schools and even in prisons and said," Attacking hospitals and killing patients, nurses and doctors is not called war anymore."
The senior cleric called the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia as representatives of the United States, United Kingdom, France and other western countries and noted they are all in pursuit of returning the ousted president to the Arab country demanding," What is really the final result of this massacre in Yemen?"
Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky urged the world people to think about the objectives of western countries behind their assault on Yemen condemning the global silence on the catastrophe.
Prominent Nigerian scholar assimilated the crimes committed in Libya, Iraq and Syria and those in Yemen and said;" Western countries destroy everything in their new plot to spark another world war in a bid to protect Israeli regime."
He called on the world governments to contribute to resolving the Yemen war and said," The global silence on the catastrophic situation in Yemen, which is deprived of electricity, oil and medical equipment, is meaningless."
Senior cleric noted resistance as the sole way for Yemeni nation.
