The Minister of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran "Ahmad Vahidi" in his first official meeting in Pakistan on Monday at local time met with General "Qamar Javed Bajwa" Commander of the Pakistani Army.

The meeting was also attended by "Mohammad Ali Hosseini", the ambassador of Iran, General "Ahmad Ali Goodarzi", the commander of the Iranian border guard police, and Colonel "Mostafa Ghanbarpour", our military attaché in Pakistan.
 
Some Pakistani military and security officials, along with the Pakistani army commander, met with a Iranian delegation.
 
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments related to Iran-Pakistan relations, security developments in the region, border cooperation and the situation in Afghanistan.
 
This is Ahmad Vahidi's first visit to Pakistan as Interior Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran since his appointment.
 
Vahidi is scheduled to meet with the Interior Minister and then the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
