Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 185 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 134,238.
According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 16, 2022, 6,876,565 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,373,678 of the infected people recovered.
Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 16,310 cases, of whom 2,275 patients were hospitalized.
3,607 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).
So far, 46,307,661 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.
According to the latest analysis, 247 cities are red, 112 are orange, and 89 are zones.
So far, 61,770,138 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 54,897,594 have received the second dose, 21,689,655 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 138,357,387 doses.
