Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Ahmadi, senior Iranian cleric met with deputy of Kazakhstan ambassador to Tehran as the two sides stressed cultural commonalities and called for expansion of ties between the two countries.
International deputy of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in this meeting highlighted the role of religious leaders and elites in preventing extremism and also boosting coexistence among followers of different religions, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He voiced support of Iran’s major Islamic unity center for any measure in line with boosting coexistence and culture and said,” Instability in any country will overflow to all its neighbors and regional countries.”
The cleric added, ”The way to establish and boost security is cultural measures, dialogue and cooperation among religious leaders and cultural figures.”
Kazakh official in this meeting welcomed expansion of cultural relations with Iranian nation as an honor hailing participation of Iranian scientists and elites in meetings to be hosted by his country Kazakhstan.
He delivered the message and invitation of Kazakhstan grand mufti for the Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought to attend the international congress of religions scheduled to be held in Nur-Sultan in mid-September 2022.
7th round of international congress of religions will be held in the Kazakh capital on September 14-15, 2022 as the religious elites and thinkers from across the globe will discuss “Role of World Religious Leaders in Spiritual and Social Growth of Man in Post-COVID Era.”
