The first edition of the Hakim V Award was held on Thursday evening in Tehran's Vahdat Hall.

According to the head of the commission Hojjatollah Ayoubi, the ceremony was aimed at reviving the privileged position of Hakim V in Iranian culture and literature. 
Returning to the sources of the Persian language and introducing the famous Persian poet Hakim Nezami was among the other goals of the ceremony.
His vocabulary treasury, unique illustrations, and eternal wise words in Panj Ganj or Khamsa of Nizami have protected the linguistic and identity borders of the Iranians for centuries.
