In separate messages to President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajid, the Iranian President congratulated the Independence Day of Bangladesh.

Also, in his message to the Bangladeshi prime minister, President Raisi expressed hope that in the light of the efforts of the two countries' officials, the two sides would witness more and more development and deepening of relations in all areas of mutual interests.
