The new ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in a meeting with President Ebrahim Raisi noted that Armenia was ready to raise the relations between the two countries to the level of strategic relations.

Referring to the firm policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in opposing any aggression, the President added, "What has distinguished Iran today from other countries in the world has been the principled position of our country against the aggression of the United States and hegemonic countries.

Raisi emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported the right of national sovereignty and respect for the territorial integrity of countries.
