The first round of interfaith dialogue between Iranian and American thinkers will be held on May 11 as Christian and Muslim elites will exchange views on the role of dialogue among religions.
Iran's University of Religions and Denominations has scheduled an online conference to be attended by Iranian and American elites, university professors and religious figures on "Importance of Dialogue" on Wednesday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Participants in this online meeting will discuss: Christianity's view on interfaith dialogue, role of women in dialogue and dialogue in Shia Islam.
Dr. Abdul Rahim Gavahi, professor of religions and philosophy, Dr. Khadijeh Barzegar, professor of Al Mustafa International University and Dr. Fayyazi comprise the Iranian experts on this online panel.
The international meeting of Christian and Muslim scholars will be held at 11:00 a.m. New York time on Wednesday May 11, 2022.
