The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Russia’s Gazprom Company managers agreed to expand cooperation in the energy field.

 The two sides also agreed that further negotiations for broader ties in various possible energy fields would be held in the future.
Tehran's 26^th International Oil Industry Exhibition kicked off on Friday and will be wrapped up on May 16.
The exhibition focuses on oil, gas, refineries, and petrochemical fields.
Besides Iran, the exhibition hosts companies from 11 countries, including Italy, Spain, UAE, South Korea, Switzerland, Germany, Ukraine, South Africa and Belgium.
