Hamas spokesman has underlined the attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque is a battle in broad daylight and not a speck of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque for the Israelis.
In an interview with Iran Press, Fawzi Barhoum said about the attack of the Zionist forces and settlers on Al-Aqsa Mosque: "The occupying Israeli regime is pursuing a racist policy against the Palestinian people and holy places, and what is happening in Al-Aqsa Mosque is Zionists' crime."
Zionist settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday with the support of the Zionist forces, while the occupying forces clashed with Palestinian youth and worshipers, injuring several Palestinians.
Zionist regime police say they have arrested at least 20 Palestinians while confronting settlers in Al-Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Barhoum highlighted that the clashes with the occupiers over the identity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque continue, adding that the sacrifices of Palestinian worshipers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian resistance show that the mosque is for Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims and not for Jews.
