Head of the political bureau of Palestinian resistance movement Hamas visited headquarter of International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) in Istanbul stressing necessity of solidarity in support for the al-Aqsa Mosque.

Ismail Haniyeh meeting with a number of members of IUMS detailed the Flag March ceremony held by Israeli settlers in Jerusalem al-Quds stressing importance of unity for protecting al-Aqsa Mosque and its Islamic identity.
 
He highlighted Jerusalem al-Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque as the holy site for meeting of all Muslims.
 
Head of the political bureau of Hamas enumerated the strategic options for the Palestinian movement naming; resistance and confrontation with Israeli occupation, materialization of the Palestinian objective particularly liberation of al-Quds.
 
He referred to the measures in line with national collaboration and stressed," A top priority for Hamas is reconstruction of Palestinian homes.
