Iran’s Defense Ministry spokesman has announced the country’s preparation for two more research launches to be made by Zul-Jannag satellite carrier.
Zul-Jananah satellite carrier is a three-stage Iranian combined fuel satellite carrier weighing 52 tons and a length of 25.5 meters, which was built by specialists of Iran's Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces logistics and is the first home-made satellite carrier in Iran that has a first stage solid-fuel engine.
The total thrust generated by Zul-Jannah solid fuel engines with a diameter of 1.5 meters is 74 tons.
According to Iran Press News Agency, "Seyed Ahmad Hosseini," the space spokesman of the Ministry of Defense and Logistics of the Armed Forces of Iran, talking about the research launches of the satellite on Zul-Jannah, added: Zul-Jannah is a three-stage satellite with a combined fuel, and in each research launch, the performance of different stages is evaluated and monitored.
The space spokesman of the Ministry of Defense and Logistics of the Armed Forces of Iran also emphasized:" By stabilizing the technology and ensuring the correct operation of the satellite, Zul-Janah will be able to inject cargoes weighing up to 220 kg in a 500- km orbit.
