Georgian Prime Minister has congratulated all Muslims on Eid al-Adha in his visit to Juma Mosque in the capital Tbilisi stressing respects for followers of all religions living in the country.
Irakli Garibashvili met with a number of clerics, Muslim citizens and representatives of embassies at Juma Mosque in Tbilisi on Monday to congratulate all Muslims on Eid al-Adha and underlined coexistence and tolerance towards all religions in his country, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” Georgia is tolerant country where followers of different religions can live in coexistence and be part of advancement of the country.”
Top official vowed his full support for Muslim community, clerics and also the common goal for building a stronger Georgia.
Muslim leaders in this ceremony appreciated the prime minister for his support.
