Activists have launched a campaign on social media to reveal the crimes committed by Saudi Crown prince Mohammad bin Salman and President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammas bin Zayed al-Nahyan in seven years of aggression on Yemeni nation.
Participants in the campaign have posted on their Twitter accounts with the hashtag “Bin Salman killer of Yemeni children” and “Bin Zayed, criminal in Yemen war” to condemn the war waged against the impoverished Arab country since March 201, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The campaign has been launched a few days after Saudi-led coalition began attack on Yemeni army.
The move was made concurrent with release of a report by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) saying that the number of Yemeni people displaced due to Saudi-led aggressions has risen to 4.3 million out of which two million are children.
A previous report had said that nearly two million Yemeni minors were suffering malnutrition with 360,000 feared to die soon.
Saudi-UAE coalition launched the second plan for “Action Plan to Strengthen the Protection of Children Affected by Armed Conflict in Yemen” claiming that as preventive plan against damage to the minors amid military actions.
Activists also published images ofstarving Yemeni children and the corpes remained after Saudi-UAE bombardment.
