Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought stressed necessity of boosting Islamic solidarity in meeting with leader of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari in part of his visit to India met with Molavi Mahmood Asad Madani and former MP discussing the role of Indian movement in promoting Islamic unity in the country, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Leader of Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind explained the measures taken by the movement in line with creating and boosting solidarity among Deobandi groups and Indian Muslims in general.
 
Iranian top Sunni cleric, Molavi Es’haq Madani also visited India as part of Iranian delegation to the country.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari hailed the efforts by Indian movement to boost unity among Muslims and highlighted necessity of convergence among world Muslims.
 
The cleric also invited Molavi Mahmood Asad Madani to take part in upcoming Islamic Unity Conference to be held in early October.
