The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Tehran met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stressing expanding ties between two sides.
Amir- Abdollahian said in this meeting: "Based on the neighborly-oriented policy, we are interested in expanding relations with all neighbors, including the UAE."
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran also emphasized the need for regional countries to cooperate for stability in the region.
Amir- Abdollahian stated the necessity of using the existing capacities in the development of relations between the two countries, forming a high commission for cooperation between the two countries, organizing consular relations and facilitating the activities of Iranian educational, service and medical institutions in the UAE.
The UAE ambassador to Tehran, also expressing his satisfaction at the beginning of his return to Iran, considered the high economic and commercial capacities of the two countries as an important factor for the promotion of bilateral relations and explained the views of the UAE high officials regarding the good relations with Iran as well as the activation of the relevant committees and the exchange of delegations between the two countries.
