Doctor Mohammad Ali Azarshab, university professor, investigated on the internal and external factors that caused challenges in Islamic countries, on 36th Islamic Unity Conference.
Mohammad Ali Azarshab considered staying away from the Quran as most important factors of challenges in Islamic societies that causes external factors to infiltrate the Islamic society, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He stressed that when we see only the Lord of the Worlds at the top of everything and when the Islamic Ummah worships only Allah Almighty but not its own sensual whims and fancies, this is when nations united.
Pointing out that if the spirit of honor enters the body of the Islamic Ummah man will move towards the construction of civilization as well as unity and integration, he noticed “Of course, this movement will continue until a person does not face obstacles. The most important of these obstacles are whims and desires which make people worship something other than Allah Almighty.”
“Tawhid in its civilizational meaning is able to bring us back to unity and prevent us from division, discord and conflict” he added.
The university professor stated that a living society is thirsty for knowledge; even if this knowledge is in the farthest parts of the Earth and noted “This is the thing that connects different parts of the world of Islam together and protects Islamic societies from any division and conflict caused by ethnic and sectarian differences.”
36th International Islamic Unity Conference officially has begun from October 9 - 11 with Muslim elites and intellectuals from across the globe discussing “Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the Islamic World, Exclusive solutions and operational measures.”
