Mufti Imtiaz Al Haq Noorani, Pakistani author and researcher, mentioned some approaches that Muslims can reach the Unity in his speech, on 36th Islamic Unity Conference.
Pakistani author and researcher delivered his speech on unity and Brotherhood of Muslim and stated that world of Kufr is seeking to destroy Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
“Mere Tawhid alone is not enough to unite Muslims. Because Jews and Christians both believe in God. The only issue and element that distinguishes Muslims from Jews, Christians and other religions is the fact of following the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)” he said.
“Today, we need the unity of the Ummah, and this is not achieved only by words, we need action and deeds”, he said and added “Today, unfortunately, with the slightest difference of opinion, we accuse each other of infidelity.”
Pointing out some actions that Muslims can reach the unity, he said “The first step in this direction is to abandon prejudice.”
Pakistani researcher stressed on highlighting all shared actions and ideas and also a non-destructive propaganda method as next steps.
“Ulemma and scholars should be aware of modern and new sciences and some plans should be done for this” he added as forth action.
“It is also necessary to establish a competent governmental commission in case of disputes and condemn secret sectarianism and hypocrisy” Mufti Imtiaz Al Haq Noorani concluded.
36th International Islamic Unity Conference officially has begun from October 9 - 11 with Muslim elites and intellectuals from across the globe discussing “Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the Islamic World, Exclusive solutions and operational measures.”
