Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought warned of the United States and world arrogant powers plotting disintegration of the Muslim world in a bid to loot their natural resources and assets.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari in his opening speech at the 36^th International Islamic Unity Conference on Wednesday morning expressed regret over two centuries of war, bloodshed and skirmishes in the world of Islam; hence, choosing the theme “Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the Islamic World” for the event, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Senior cleric related on the projects by arrogant power and issues challenging the Muslim world and named disintegration as the first plot on the agenda of the enemies of Islam tearing the Indian peninsula, the Ottomans and parts of Iran before dividing our country into three parts during the World War II, pursued disintegration of Syria and the burnt land project, harassed the country with civil war leaving the Syrian land, which used to be the cradle of prosperity, in ruins, killed more than 500,000 people displacing two thirds of its population.
 
Dr Shahriari added,” Promoting secularism and liberalism in the Islamic countries is the other project by enemies of Islam. To know that Islam builds civilization has disturbed their calm.”
 
He said,” Islam is the religions of blessings but enemies introduce Islam as a violent religion in a bid to intensify disagreements and conflicts among Islamic countries.”
 
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought referred to a number of reasons behind conflicts in the world of Islam including ignorance of the prejudiced Shia and Sunni followers, servitude states and opposing parties and blocs among more backgrounds.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari also called on all Islamic countries to mobilize for the world of Islam and enumerated the solutions as:
-adhering to norms of difference among denominations
-Modern means should be hired to set the move for explanation of differences on the agenda
-Islamic nations should pursue their rightful demands from the tyrant governments
-Sectarianism and tribalism go against Islam hence should be avoided by the Islamic nations
-Pursuit of rational strategies to settle disagreements
 
Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said that the practical solutions for Islamic unity, peace and avoidance of division in the world of Islam will be detailed in the final meeting of the 36^th Islamic Unity Conference.
 
36^th International Islamic Unity Conference is held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on “Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the Islamic World” on October 10-15, 2022 as prominent Shia and Sunni scholars discuss the issues of Muslim world in online and in presence meetings held in the capital Tehran.
