Shikh Mahmood Khoshkhabar, director of the religious complex of Imam Shafi'i in Kangan, Iran, expressed his view of unity in Islamic world and mentioned some solid principles to strong the unity of the Islamic Ummah.
Iranian director of Imam Shafi complex said that Isalmic world is living in a situation where the hegemonic powers have used all their efforts to inflame the fire of conflicts among the Islamic societies, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Referring to Quran verses he said “The nation of Islam is the chosen nation. But today, the Islamic Ummah does not enjoy this high position, because it has forgotten the duty of holding fast to the rope of Allah and not be divided.”
“Obeying the words and commands of the Almighty Allah is the cause of understanding and reducing enmities and leading toward friendship and reconciliation; which is considered as one of the most important social programs of Islam” he added.
“The cause of all the pain and suffering, such as war and bloodshed, which humanity is dealing with today, all is caused by distancing from Allah Almighty; and distancing from the teachings of Islam. It is quite clear that and natural that those who are engulfed in Satanic temptations and ego, and follow Satan, they cannot bring peace” he noted.
In the end, he stressed on five solid principles to strong the unity of the Islamic Ummah such as cooperation on commonalities and forgiveness on differences, not excommunicating the people of Qibla, acceptance and recognition of mutual rights, respecting the thoughts and sanctities of others and acceptance and recognition of differences.
