On the sidelines of the 36th International Islamic Unity Conference, a group of guests of this gathering, visited Royan Research Institute.

A group of those who are taking part in the Unity Conference in Tehran, had an inspection tour of various departments of the Royan Research Institute as well as the scientific achievements of this center on Thursday evening, October 21, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Welcoming the visitors and congratulating the birthday of the Holy Prophet of Islam (SA), Abdul Hossein Shahverdi, the head of Royan Research Institute, said: academic jihad is one of the blessings of the Islamic Revolution.

He stated that the Royan Research Center is one of the outstanding achievements of the academic jihad, adding that its works include treatment of infertility and in addition to the patients of our own country, we provide services to foreign patients.

Shahverdi pointed out: Employing young people and trusting them in Royan Center is one of the working policies of this scientific research center. The vision is actually the result of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution's trust in the youth.

 Ruhollah Fathi, Vice President of Royan Research Institute, briefed the visitors of the history and successful research works carried out in this institute at the national and international level.

Visitors inspected different departments of this research institute, such as tissue nanoengineering department, embryonic stem cell bank, cytogenetic department and cord blood bank.
