Head of Lebanon’s Association of Muslim scholars, attending a meeting between participants of 36th Islamic Unity Conference and Iranian Foreign Minister on Friday night hailing Islamic Republic’s support for Lebanon.

Sheikh Qazi Hunaina expressed satisfaction over the military, political and economic achievements in Lebanon and related on the activities of the Association of Muslim Scholars in line with Islamic unity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Lebanon’s Association of Muslim Scholars has successfully foiled several intrigues hatched both at home and from foreign countries and take giant steps to support Palestine.”
 
Top cleric expressed regret over the constant aggressions by Israeli regime against Palestinian people.
 
He appreciated Islamic Republic of Iran’s support for Lebanon particularly in energy filed and for the academic elites.
