Thousands of Palestinians in northern Gaza Strip have held massive rally on Friday to voice solidarity with al-Aqsa Mosque and resistance movements.
Palestinian demonstrators headed from the mosques of the Jabalia refugee camp after the Friday prayer, chanting slogans in support of Al-Aqsa and paying tribute to the Palestinian martyr Uday at-Tamimi.
Suhail al-Hindi, member of Hamas political bureau, In his speech at the rally organized by the Palestinian resistance movement, hailed the bravery of martyr at-Tamimi, calling on all the Palestinian freedom fighters to follow his footsteps until full liberation of the occupied lands and holy sites.
Al-Hindi hailed the steadfastness of Palestinians in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem who have been defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling on the Muslim and Arab nations to shoulder their responsibility in protecting the holy site.
Earlier on Wednesday, Palestinian resistance fighter at-Tamimi was killed during armed clashes with Israeli security guards at the entrance of the illegal settlement of Ma’ale Adumim.
Palestinian resistance activities have been escalating in the West Bank and Jerusalem in response to the ongoing Israeli violations against Palestinian citizens in addition to the repeated Jewish settlers’ break-ins into Al-Aqsa Mosque, facilitated by the tight protection of Israel police.
