Sistan and Baluchestan police commander announced the arrest of three drug traffickers and the seizure of 1,193 kilograms of illicit narcotics in the province.

 He highlighted that three smugglers had been arrested and 1.193 tons of opium confiscated during the operation.
 
Iran is at the forefront of the fight against drug trafficking. Thousands of Iranian forces have been so far killed to protect the world from the danger of drugs.
Despite high economic and human costs, the Islamic Republic has been actively fighting drug trafficking over the past decades.
