Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought slammed Daesh Takfiri terrorist group as a brainchild of the arrogant powers with the aim of tarnishing the image of Islam.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in a meeting with Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Saffar Harandi, representative of the Supreme Leader in Syria and Mahdi Sobhani, Iranian ambassador to Damascus counting the key criteria for Islamic ummah (nation), reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He alluded to verses of Qur’an and enumerated confrontation with enemies and friendship with Muslims as two important criteria for an Islamic nation.
 
Top cleric condemned Daesh terrorist group as the brainchild of arrogant powers with the aim of tarnishing the image of Islam and said,” The arrogant powers intend to provide a violent image of Islam and complete its Islamophobia project.”
 
He slammed Israeli regime as true manifest of atheists and said,” The foundations of this regime is based on oppression and intrigues against Muslims” calling the occupying Israeli forces and Americans as true enemies of Muslims.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari decried efforts to misguide the minds of younger generation among other hostile plots against Islamic communities warning against the cyberspace and social media as grounds for these intrigues.
 
Top scholar stressed that holy Qur’an introduces “confrontation with warmongering infidels” as mission for all Muslims and said,” Warmongering infidels are people who fight and displace Muslims.”
 
He called Israeli regime as true instance of warmongering infidels and noted,” This regime is founded on oppression and intrigues against Muslims” concluding that “Occupiers of al-Quds and Americans are true enemies of Muslims.”
 
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought ended his remarks stressing importance of friendly relations among Muslims and preventing division in the world of Islam as key recommendations in holy Qur’an.
