The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Mohammad Eslami called the issuance of a resolution against Iran in the International Atomic Energy Agency as an unconstructive measure to maintain maximum pressure, which will not help solving the existing issues.
The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran stated that this wrong action and the approval of the anti-Iran resolution, as it was said before, will bring a strong response from Iran, and stated: "The nuclear programs of the Islamic Republic of Iran are in accordance with the Strategic Action Law of the Parliament of Iran. It is going forward and the issuance of numerous anti-Iran resolutions will not cause any disruption in the progress of these programs."
Eslami emphasized: "Iran's peaceful nuclear programs, which are pursued in the national arena, are for the prosperity and progress of the Iranian nation."
The new resolution of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency against Iran's peaceful nuclear program was approved while it sent a clear message to Washington and its European allies, despite the strong political pressure of the United States and the European troika, with the fall of the votes in favor.
In the voting on Thursday, November 17, 26 countries voted in favor of the anti-Iranian resolution, 5 countries abstained, and 2 countries, Russia and China, voted against.
