The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei underscored in a gathering of educated women: "The issue of employing our wise, efficient, experienced, scientific, wise females in various levels of decision-making in the country is an important issue."

 The most important points of the Leader of the Revolution's remarks are as follows:
 
- A very pleasant and useful meeting, God willing, with a lot of benefit for our future, for our thoughts, was held here today. I am very happy that we were able to hold this meeting this year. Last year, the ladies wrote a letter, protesting why you dedicated women's Day to maddahs, it is true, and this meeting would be held in the future as well.
 
- This meeting has been a pure women's meeting and full of outstanding and excellent concepts until now, until this moment. The talks given by the ladies were very good and I really benefited from them.
 
- There were suggestions, God willing, they can find a solution for those suggestions. Maybe some of these contents are related to the Cultural Revolution Council, for example, it should be discussed there or anywhere else. It is especially important to employ our wise, efficient, experienced, knowledgeable, wise women in various levels of decision-making in the country. Of course, my mind is busy with this matter. We have to find a way for it.
-On the issue of women, our position towards the Western hypocritical states is a position of demand. The modern West is guilty vis-à-vis women and and committed a crime. By making demands and issues related to women, the hope is that you will be able to influence the public opinion of Westerners as well, really because Indeed, their ladies are suffering.
 
- Once, many years ago, students asked me in the university, what defense do you have for yourself in a certain case? I said I don't have defense, I have offense. In the case of the woman, it is like this, the world is to blame, the world I am talking about is the Western world, Western philosophy, and the existing Western culture, of course, the modern West, as they say, I have nothing to do with the modernity of the historical West, that is another matter, the modern West means the one that is around last 200 years that expressed its opinion in all aspects of life. We are criticizing them, they are guilty, they committed a crime.
 
-Therefore, what we say is not a defense aspect, it is an expression of Islamic opinion and belief, it is an Islamic position. Even I hope that if these things that we raise about the women's issue, thank God, I see that you are well versed in these issues, or the ladies who spoke and are completely well versed, you must repeat and express them, the hope is that be able to influence the public opinion of Westerners, because their women are really suffering. Western women's society today is suffering unconsciously in some cases and consciously in other cases, it may affect them as well.
