Amir-Abdollahian noted: "Due to the establishment of the Netanyahu government in Tel Aviv, the latest situation in the occupied territories was evaluated."
Iran's top diplomat elsewhere stated: "In the meeting with the Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziad Al-Nakhaleh, we exchanged views that the resistance in Lebanon, as well as Islamic Jihad, Hamas and other resistance groups are in the best condition."
Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who arrived in Beirut on Thursday night at the invitation of his Lebanese counterpart, met with Lebanese officials, including the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Speaker of the Parliament, on Friday. He is going to depart for Damascus in the second leg of his trip.
During his trip to Beirut, Amir- Abdollahian also met with the Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah.
