The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has issued a message to condemn, in the strongest terms, the vile act of burning the holy Quran by far-right activists in Sweden.
OIC Secretary General, Hissein Brahim Taha, also denounced the Swedish authority for issuing the permission for Qur’an burning by far-right activist Rasmus Paludan on 21st January and insulting the Muslims across the world.
The OIC Secretary-General warned that this provocative action which has been committed repeatedly by far-right extremists targets Muslims, insults their sacred values, and serves as further example of the alarming level reached by Islamophobia, hate, intolerance, and xenophobia.
