The guardian of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) hailed the Islamic Revolution in Iran as a movement that boosted hope and confidence of the Muslim world.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Ahmad Marvi, said in a meeting with Sharia deputies of the Leader in different Iraqi cities and explained the reasons for endurance of the Islamic Revolution, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” Despite the enemies’ intentions, Islamic Revolution has left deep impacts at home and across the globe” and added,” It has boosted hope and confidence in the world of Islam and rays of that led to establishment of the resistance in the region.”
The senior cleric hailed the Islamic Revolution and the resistance movement for achievements against Israeli regime, resistance of the people in Yemen and Syria and also the tightening condition of the occupying Tel Aviv regime.
The guardian of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine lauded the post-revolution achievements in different fields: health and medical sciences, military, nuclear technology, knowledge-based sciences and industry despite the sanctions and compared that with the total dependence of Iran on western countries in pre-revolution era.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Marvi also highlighted the cultural and historical commonalities of Iran and Iraq and called for boosting mutual support between the two Shia countries in the region.
