On this occasion, Iran's Presidential Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian issued a statement on Friday honoring the memory of the martyrs of the Palestinian cause and resistance, especially the proud commander of Iran Lieutenant General Martyr Qasem Soleimani emphasized the continuance of the principled policy of the Iranian government and people in supporting the liberation struggles of the Palestinian people and confronting the usurping and criminal Zionist invaders and the absolute necessity of forming a Palestinian state with Holy Quds as its capital.
Iran's Presidential Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian calls on all the Muslim and freedom-loving nations and governments of the world to put pressure on the governments and official and international legal institutions to fulfill their legal and humanitarian duties in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people, and end the occupation and halt the barbaric crimes of the Zionists and their aggressive actions in the region, and force them to stick to this position and direct approach until the liberation of Holy Quds and all the usurped lands.
The statement criticized the inability of the international community and the unilateralism of European countries and the hypocrisy of some reactionary Arab countries in supporting this regime in the continuation of its policies of repression and aggression.
The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan has been named International Quds Day at the initiative of Late Imam Khomeini, the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
