Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari in his remarks at the international conference on al-Aqsa said the United States was determined to impose its liberal and secular values as part of efforts to guarantee its interests.

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought condemned the presence of arrogant powers in the region under vain pretexts, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
 
 He said,” Arrogant powers were in need of a cancerous tumor in the region in a bid to justify their presence in the region and create a gap to promote their ambitions.”
 
 
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought expressed hope for liberation of holy Quds.

 
The Iranian cleric noted,” In a bid to impose its unilateralism to the world, the US needed a guise, freedom, to promote its ambitions.”

  
He highlighted the fundamental changes developing across the globe and counted the establishment of the resistance front after the Islamic revolution and also the three fronts developing against US unilateralism.
 
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari added,” We, for our part, managed to stand against the US ambitions by beating Daesh Takfiri terrorists and resisting in Iraq and Syria.”

 
Top cleric noted,” We have ended the grandeur of the US across the globe and in the next move we should totally end the US unilateralism and the hegemony of US dollar in the global economic arena.”

  
The first part of the international conference on al-Aqsa was held virtually on Tuesday as religious and political figures and pro-Palestine activists expressed their views on liberation of the holy site and Palestinian lands.
