Taghribnews (TNA) - Iran, India confer on boosting security, economic ties

The National Security Adviser of the Prime Minister of India, who has traveled to Tehran, met with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran on political and security relations, especially bilateral and multilateral economic issues, and the most important regional and international developments.

Last year, Shamkhani and Doval met and consulted with each other on the sidelines of the fourth regional security dialogue meeting in Tajikistan.

India is one of the main members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the BRICS group, and considering the strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran for close economic cooperation with the member countries of these two organizations and groups, continuous interaction with New Delhi can play a decisive role in advancing the desired goals in this regard.
