Palestinian Ministry of Education announced eight students have been martyred and a number of others wounded in Israel’s five days of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
The ministry has added in its statement that thousands of students and minors are suffering psychological disorders as a result of the air strikes and bombardment of the residential areas by Israeli regime forces, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The statement noted that 44 Palestinian schools and kindergartens were damaged during five-day strikes by Israeli forces.
Palestine’s Ministry of Education has called on the world countries and human rights watchdogs to condemn Israeli criminal acts against children, students and educational centers.
It also demanded that the criminal Israeli authorities to be brought to justice at international courts.
The five days of Israeli regime atrocities against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, has left 33 people including women and children killed and 150 others wounded.
