The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has hailed the successful summit of the Arab League hosted in Saudi port city of Jeddah.

The Secretary-General of the OIC, Hissein Brahim Taha, extended his sincere congratulations to the Saudi authorities namely King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
 
The OIC head also commended the meeting which would strengthen the bonds of solidarity and cooperation in the region.
 
He also lauded the event for giving a new impetus to efforts to find appropriate solutions to all issues and challenges facing the Arab world.
 
The Arab League Summit was particularly in the spotlights over participation of the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad after more than a decade.
 
The Arab organization agreed to return of Syria to the bloc following its suspension after the outbreak of the foreign militancy in the country.
