A number of US Congress members and politicians in New York state slammed a Yemeni US graduate student after she delivered a speech criticizing Israel, its firing of bombs and bullets indiscriminately at worshipers, killing adults and children, and attacking funerals and cemeteries.
The US graduate of Yemeni origin accused Israel of carrying out extrajudicial executions, continuing its settlement expansion and expelling the Palestinian residents from their homes, and indicated that silence is no longer acceptable.
Mohammad’s near 13-minute speech prompted dozens of politicians and organizations supporting Israel to demand a halt to funding the university, describing the speech as "anti-Semitic."
