Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has underlined the positive effects of Hajj pilgrimage calling that a media for the world of Islam.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in his speech at the first scientific meeting on media and rites stressing Hajj pilgrimage as a medium to send the message of Islam across the world, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Hajj is performed at a certain time during the year since it is the platform to send a message across the Islamic nation.”
 
The cleric noted the effective and invigorating impacts of Hajj pilgrimage on Muslims which functions as a medium to send particular messages.
 
He said,” We view the ritual as a medium which has always maintained its axis Wilaya, jurisprudence.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari made the comments at the conference on rites and media held on threshold of the Hajj 2023.
