Deputy of Lebanon’s Hajj affairs highlighted importance of solidarity among Islamic countries stressing that Islamic unity would be a blow in the face of enemies like the US and Israeli regime.
Sheikh Hassan Abdullah, mufti of Tyre and Jbel Amel provinces in Lebanon, met with Seyyed Abdul Fattah Navvab, the representative of the Leader in Hajj 2023, to reiterate the numerous commonalities between the Islamic Republic of Iran and his country Lebanon and vowed full support for the Islamic Revolution, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He called the bilateral relations between Tehran and Beirut as historical and hailed the constructive interactions in a bid to reach common interests.
Deputy of Lebanon’s Hajj affairs counted confrontation with Israeli regime among the major policies of Tehran and Beirut and said,” The reproachment between Iran and Saudi Arabia was a blow to the enemies of Islam namely Israeli regime and the United States who are in constant pursuit of dividing the Islamic countries.”
He expressed hope that unity prevails in all Islamic countries and noted that any friendly relation between two Islamic countries is a blow to the enemies of Islam.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Navvab also highlighted the origins of the relations between Iran and Lebanon and said,” Prevalence of true solidarity among all Muslim countries is a demand of people in both countries.”
The meeting between top Lebanese cleric to Iran’s bureau of Hajj affairs was held in Mecca on the sideline of the Hajj 2023.
