Top Iranian, Iraqi officials of Hajj affairs have hailed expansion of cooperation and signing agreements in a meeting held in the holy city of Mecca.
Representative of the Leader in Hajj affairs, Hujjat-ul-Islam Abdul Fattah Navvab, in a meeting with Hujjat-ul-Islam Sami Masoudi, head of Iraq’s supreme council for Hajj affairs, in Mecca discussing the common solutions regarding the new strategies for the future Hajj rituals as introduced by Saudi Arabia, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Both sides agreed to discuss the rationing system for Hajj pilgrims with Saudi officials and express their viewpoint on the issue.
Iranian cleric hailed the Iraqi bureau of Hajj for winning the best Hajj caravan and said the country deserved the title as it has successfully admitted tens of millions of pilgrims to the holy shrine of the third Shia Imam.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Sami Masoudi also lauded Iran’s Hajj bureau for beating the sanctions and its perfect function during Hajj 2023.
Hajj is a pillar of Islam and every Muslim who can physically and economically afford the pilgrimage should perform that at least once in his life.
