A Lebanese parliamentarian has said "The indictment against Hezbollah members is based on circumstantial evidence, which is based on the pairing of spatial."

Ali Fayyad, member of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" block at the Lebanese parliament said "in a country that showed the investigations carried out by the Lebanese security services that cellular networks are sacked and infiltrated by the Israeli enemy, which can be manipulated and changed and fabricated as it pleases, the inventory of circumstantial evidence in one destination confirms the intention of political targeting, while impartiality and objectivity requires to evoke new hypothesis necessitated by circumstantial evidence against "Israel", being a beneficiary of the offense, and has the potential for implementation, and there is evidences that raises criminal suspicion, but it was completely overlooked".

Fayyad indicated that "The court is supposed to be immune to political bias, it has adopted standards, concepts and provisions politically biased and absorbed with anti-Hezbollah and the resistance, when it described the earlier acts as terrorist acts, it adopt the profile that U.S. and Israel have."

"A reader can not read the indictment through the way adopted by the General Attorney, the distinction between whether the data are merely are conclusions of default, or facts that have been confirmed already, and here it seems that the confusion in the formula is intentional, knowing that the vast majority of Lebanese public opinion have come to realize that the court is politicized and does not seek  justice, but to the political retribution, " the MP noted.

He confirmed that "Hezbollah would not descend to any form of cooperation with the court that was given before this opportunity, but it missed it due to loss of credibility, now Hezbollah is not on board of cooperation." He also stressed that  "Hezbollah's stand obligates only Hezbollah, but not others who have the freedom in what they do".

Fayyad saod " [Lebanese] Prime Minister Najib Mikati called to deal with responsibility and a profound national sense with the issue of the Court and Lebanon's commitment to international resolutions", adding that "the wisdom of Mikati in approaching this subject and the way it happened and dealing with the arrest warrants is wise and based on the commitment to the international decisions in one hand and on the other hand to take into account stability, and this is of course in the interest of the country".

He also said that "there are some who seek to divide Sunni-Shia, and there is a regional volatile and sectarian environment, and this must be taken into account."

"Hezbollah of his part made a strategy to work against sectarian strife, and began with it long time ago and will be complete work by it in the period ahead," the MP said.

Fayyad explained that "All the stations and the joints that the Court passed by was a political time-bound, at this stage, we can not ignore when the indictment issue in isolation from the fallout in the region."
