Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said he who claims advocacy of new Islamic civilization should be open to all ethnicities and denominations.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, in response to Taqrib News Agency (TNA) correspondent at the briefing of the 3^rd Regional Islamic Unity Conference, said the motto on “materialization of new Islamic civilization” is a great objective that summons great tolerance on the side of all Islamic countries.
 
He said,” If we claim to be a supporter of the new Islamic civilization, then we have to be tolerant towards all ethnicities and Islamic denominations.”
 
Top cleric stressed the rich civilization in some cities naming Urmia and called for maintaining the culture for future.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari called on the diverse ethnical and cultural groups to maintain the new Islamic civilization and highlight the commonalities.
 
Senior scholar made the comments at the briefing held ahead of the third Regional Islamic Unity Conference held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
