In the telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Brazil, the latest bilateral relations were discussed and opinions were exchanged.
In this call, Amir- Abdollahian, expressing his satisfaction with the growing level of relations between the two countries, said: "We hope that with the increase in contacts, the ground for expansion and greater mobility will be provided in the good cooperation between the two countries."
Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira also emphasized the importance of the high capacity of Iran and Brazil in economic and commercial fields, and stressed the desire of Brazilian government to strengthen cooperation with Tehran.
In this conversation, views were also exchanged regarding the upcoming BRICS meeting in South Africa and its expansion and strengthening.
The Brazilian side, while emphasizing the growing importance of BRICS in global relations, stated that Iran has high capacities to help achieve the goals of BRICS.
