Senior Lebanese spiritual leader has praised Libyan nation for their efforts to dethrone Gaddafi's regime
Beirut - Taqrib News Agency (TNA) - Sheikh Afif Nablusi, President of the Association of Jabal Amel Ulama blessed the Libyan people for their great efforts to overthrow the regime of Muammar Gaddafi, and put an end into his unbalanced rule.
He stressed that "the struggling Libyan people deserve to enjoy true freedom and return to the circle of attendance and efficiency at the level of the nation after being isolated from the core issues in the region and was stolen and crushed, and his absence for a long time behind false slogans and misleading turned out to be an aim of protecting Qaddafi and his family, maintaining power and take advantage of the gains".
Nablusi said "We are on the threshold of an important development at the level of Arab reality, especially if we connect the events in more than one Arab country, and warned of the West danger of stealing these efforts and sacrifices and the blood that fell in order to enhance its influence and new position in his country.
He said that the Libyan people, who lived under the rule of a tyrant for decades, cannot be governed by foreign tyranny again.
He called for public awareness of the Libyan people and the need to pay attention to what the West is preparing to control oil wealth and exploitation in his favor.
He concluded by appealing to the Libyan people to uncover the fate of Imam Musa Sadr and reveal the circumstances of this case that Gaddafi hide it in the depths of the Arab and international deals for more than thirty years.
