Iranian thinker Sheikh Hossein Bazmandegan has stated that the religion of Islam strongly opposes the beginning of war, bloodshed, massacre and killing, while cautioning its warriors against doing injustice, and inhumane methods.

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Praise be to God, we praise Him, we seek His help, we seek His forgiveness, we seek guidance from Him, we believe in Him and we put our trust in Him, and we seek refuge in God from the evils of ourselves and from the evils of our deeds, and we bear witness that there is no god but God, alone with no partner, and I bear witness that there is no god but God, alone with no partner, and that a Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, O Allah, bless and grant peace and increase and bless our Master Muhammad (PBUH) and his family and companions.
I am going to provide you with a brief address on the legitimate war, which is mentioned in Islam, and I will discuss it with you, God willing, under the name of just war. After this discussion, God willing, we will start our discussion on how a just war can be a war. Islam speaks about a just war. But what a just war can be my dears? What is this? It means that we Muslims are never the initiators of war, but we repel aggression, and we start fighting and beat the drum for the beginning of war in order to eliminate aggression.
And the war that Islam talks about is a war that is defensive in nature, and as I said, the religion of Islam strongly opposes the beginning of war, bloodshed, massacre and killing, while cautioning its warriors against doing injustice, and inhumane methods.  Islam says you warriors and Jihadists in the path of Allah, you may be forced to act as Jihadists in the path of Allah in the ranks of Muslims and in the ranks of Jihadists. If you are forced to, you should stay away from killing civilians, from torturing and abusing enemy prisoners, from all these things that Islam does not approve of, and Islam does not approve of them, and you must also stay away from them, and lest you see religion of Islam, which is the religion of passion, the religion of love, the religion of the night of grandeur and kindness, God forbid, should be introduced to the society as a religion of brutality and a religion of slaughter and bloodshed.
My dears, the religion of Islam rejects aggressive war, a war that kills and arms, a war that destroys what people have, and that war of aggression, and the religion of Islam strongly opposes it. My dears, the religion of Islam, a war that Muslims approve it and Muslims should have that war as a Jihad for themselves, it introduces that war under the title of defensive war.
The noble religion of Islam has ordered Muslims to stand up in the way of God and kill those who invaded you, but do not go beyond the limit. Do what you have to do, because God Almighty will kill those who invade and question humanity. God doesn't like it, my dears. The other things that we as Muslims and the Ummah of the Messenger of God (PBUH) must observe in defensive wars and wars that are imposed on us as Muslims is that in our defensive wars, as a Muslim, we must practice being human and bring humanness to the fore (End of 5 minutes) and show the world why we are the followers of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). We are followers of that great commander who, whenever he command an army and whenever he intend to send an army, he used to gather the Muslim troops around them, and told them to sit in front of himself. He ordered them to move in the name of God and in the way of God and religion. One: Do not betray each other. Two: Don't arm anyone. Three: Don't break the agreement.
Do not kill old men, old women, young children and women. Look at the order of the Prophet, the great commander of Islam, where he says, "Don't even cut down trees until you have to." And if you are a Muslim, look at the order of the Prophet (PBUH) and let us set a pattern and example for ourselves. It is not usual for a soldier to give safety to one of the infidels on the front line, in war and in jihad, so that he may hear God's name... You respect the safety of that Muslim soldier.
So, if that prisoner, who is your Muslim brother, is given amnesty and he accepted Islam, then he becomes your religious brother, and if he does not accept it, he is your prisoner and he is a prisoner of war, and the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: Return him to his place. Imam Ali, the cousin of the Messenger of God (PBUH), owner of the Zulfiqar sword Haider, used to say that whenever you get a victory over an enemy, whenever you get a victory from him in passing, see the character of manliness. Look at the character of the disciples of the Messenger of God (PBUH), see and hear those who consider us Muslims as terrorists. What did the Messenger of God (PBUH) say: When you win over an enemy, pass him by and give him thanks for the blessing of strength.
Our religion is such a religion. The students of the School of the Messenger of God (PBUH) lived in the religion of peace, tranquility and security, and we are also looking for peace, security and tranquility, God willing.
Islam wants honorable peace and peaceful coexistence with respect and respect for mutual rights.
My dears, believing in peace in Islam does not mean avoiding war at any cost and under any conditions. We accept peace and we love peace and security. We approve of peace, but not in all conditions. Peace must be rooted.
My dears, peace being rooted in the religion of Islam is a condition, because peace in Islam is not something superficial. Peace must be rooted. My dears, peace in Islam is not considered temporary and transitory or a propaganda tactic; rather, peace means the ultimate elevation and compassion of Islam towards God's people and great greed and desire for their happiness. Islam wants peace because it considers the happiness of mankind. And he wants peace because Islam is a religion of peace, a religion of refinement and a religion of compassion.
My dears, Islam is against killing, blood and bloodshed, hypocrisy, division, (End of 10 minutes) separation and war. Islam rejects unjust war and approves just war.
I hope that God Almighty will grant me and you the chance to show the real face of Islam of Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) to the world. We wish peace for the world people. We want Islam and the flag of “There is no God but Allah” of Muhammad, the Prophet (PBUH) of God, the flag of peaceful Islamic coexistence, be waved in the world. God willing, it will definitely happen, and we will wait for that blessed day and pray for that blessed day, which we Muslims will witness it with our own eyes, God willing. Happy that day.
