Referring to the good effects of the International Islamic Unity Conference, the Secretary-General of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs Nizar Ali said: This conference can create a practical plan for greater cooperation between Islamic countries.

 He noted: Despite this ethnic diversity, no problems have been created for us and we live a peaceful life together.
 
The official added: Indonesia is an Islamic country and the main texts of our country are based on diversity, and unity, and we follow a moderate policy based on Islamic values.
 
The Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion said: "We are fighting extremism with our unity and we are fighting wrong traditions."
