The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran has hailed the operation al-Aqsa Flood launched by Palestinian resistance movement Hamas saying that the unprecedented attack has voided the myths on invulnerability of Israeli regime.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Kazem Seddiqi, prayer leader of Tehran, in his Friday sermon condemned as “genocide” and “horrific catastrophe” the Israeli massacre of the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to more than seven decades of seizure of the Gaza Strip and other parts of the Palestinian lands and oppression against the Palestinians and condemned the Israeli regime for forced evacuation of Palestinians and said,” All of these measures authorize Israeli regime for war.”
He said,” The most abhorred figures in all minds are the US and Israeli administrations.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seddiqi called al-Aqsa Mosque as one of the most respected sites for all monotheistic religions and said,” Had not the Palestinians defend the al-Aqsa Mosque, Zionists would have occupied even that mosque” stressing that one of the instances that Islam authorizes war is in defense of the mosques and cultural centers.
Senior Iranian cleric said that the move by Palestinian resistance Hamas was defensive and not aggressive and added,” Israeli settlers make an army that has a government since they are all armed and train their children with military education.”
He said,” Billions of dollars spent for the wall between the occupied territories and Palestinian lands, observations posts, intelligence drones, mobile tracking systems and support by US and other western countries brough the confidence to Israeli forces that nobody could infiltrate the occupied lands.”
The interim prayer leader of Tehran called the operation al-Aqsa Flood a humiliation for the United States and western countries.
The cleric condemned the Israeli brutal attack on residential complexes, schools and Ahli al-Arab Hospital and killing of thousands of Palestinian parents and their children.
He said,” The global conscience has rose up in massive rallies and now the most abhorred figures in view of the public are the US, western and Israeli rulers.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seddiqi also denounced the United Nations over the resolutions that were vetoed by the US and did not authorize flow of water, electricity and medicine into the besieged Gaza Strip.
