The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has condemned in strongest terms the escalation of Israeli military aggression against the Gaza Strip for over three weeks.

The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has condemned in strongest terms the escalation of Israeli military aggression against the Gaza Strip for over three weeks.
Hissein Brahim Taha, noted that the relentless Israeli assault has resulted in butchering of thousands of martyrs and wounding innocent civilians, including women, children, medical personnel and journalists, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He also condemned Israeli regime for deliberate destruction of buildings, hospitals, schools, places of worship, and the UN facilities in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The top official said,” Israel still threatens to bomb hospitals, in addition to continuing to prevent access to food, medicine, water, and electricity, which constitutes collective punishment, war crimes, and flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.”
Brahim Taha affirmed the OIC’s rejection of the escalation of murder, incitement, and organized terrorism committed by extremist settler groups and Israeli occupation forces against Palestinian citizens throughout the West Bank, including the occupied city of Al-Quds.
He held Israeli regime as the occupying power fully responsible for the continuation of these criminal acts.
The OIC Secretary-General renewed his call on the international community to intervene urgently to force Israel to stop its brutal aggression against the Palestinian people.
He also called for measure to ensure the opening of permanent humanitarian corridors to facilitate the access of medicines, food supplies and basic needs of the Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip.
The number of fatalities from Israeli incessant strikes against the Gaza Strip has topped 8,000 with more than 21,000 injured.
Palestinian resistance movement Hamas launched an unprecedented attack against Israeli-occupied lands on October 7 in response to intensified crackdown on the Palestinians and also frequent defiling of the al-Aqsa Mosque.
