Razavi Digital Library launches specialized website for Palestinian studies

Major library of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Iran has launched a specialized website for Palestinian studies in a bid to provide access to references on the history of Palestinian nation and occupied territories.

Mahdi Karimi, from the organization and development of digital sources at the Central Library of Imam Reza shrine said the newly-launched website contains over 3,740 digital records, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said quick access for researchers and public, seeking sources on the issue of Palestine, has been the objective behind launching the website.
 
The sources include lithographic, manuscripts, print books, dissertations and newspapers among several more references for those interested in Palestine studies.
 
The move would make contribution to the researchers, students and the readers due to increasing demand for sources related to the issue of Palestine since the topic is in highlight due to the latest developments following operation al-Aqsa Storm in the besieged Gaza Strip.
 
The new digital library has been unveiled at conference on “Palestine, Land of Resistance” held in the Iranian northeastern holy city of Mashhad on Tuesday.
 
According to Mahdi Karimi, researchers and readers can access the sources at www.digital.aqr.ir in accordance with the copy right laws.
