Taghribnews (TNA) - Iran's FM: Zionist regime cannot continue Gaza war without support of US

While welcoming the temporary ceasefire in Gaza, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said: If the Israeli regime continues the war after this phase of the ceasefire, the situation in the region will become more tense and the reactions will be widespread.

The Iranian top diplomat thanked the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar for his warm welcome and pointed out that this was the second meeting the two sides had had in the last 6 weeks.

While welcoming the temporary ceasefire in Gaza, the Foreign Minister of our country said: If the Israeli regime continues the war after this phase of the ceasefire, the situation in the region will become more tense and the reactions will be more widespread.

He noted: "The Zionist regime is not able to continue the war without the support of the United States, and what has happened against the United States in the region in the past 6 weeks is the reaction of the resistance groups in the region to the action of the United States in supporting the genocide in Palestine and has nothing to do with Iran."
Emphasizing that Hamas is a liberating movement that emerged from the context of the Palestinian nation, Amir-Abdollahian said: Hamas cannot be eliminated and they should not think that what they could not achieve during more than a month and a half, they can achieve through political means.

The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman, while expressing his satisfaction with this meeting and the good and constructive consultations and cooperation between the two countries of Iran and Qatar, also expressed the pivotal role and valuable efforts of Iran in helping to achieve a result in the issue of humanitarian cessation of the war against Gaza.

Pointing out that we have reached a good stage, he added: The first priority is the ceasefire, and our effort is to extend the temporary ceasefire and stop the war and killing of Palestinians completely and prevent a return to the option of war.
